It is a fully functioning bike that was brought back to life after sitting for several years. We re-lined the tank, did a full carb rebuilt and got this bike back on the road. As with all custom bikes the tires are aged out and should be replaced. Surprisingly this bike is a very easy handling ride and despite being a hardtail chopper it actually does not rattle your brains out. The 200 rear tire has enough meat to take a good punch instead of your spine. Handles easy over railroad tracks and turns in nicely. Independence Motorcycle Company was founded in Tucson, Arizona and was in business for about 5 years until they were hit with a lawsuit and judgement from the State of CA for selling new bikes in CA that did not meet the stringent CA requirements.
